Ralph Zurmühle

Compozitor elveţian stabilit în Spania din 1999, Ralph Zurmühle  posedă abilitatea  de a face ce vrea la claviatură; se pare însă să prefere un stil simplu şi profund emotional (de multe ori, să recunoaştem, este de preferat unuia în care succesiunea abilă dar lipsită de sentiment a notelor, este etalată doar ca bravadă) Linia melodică a celor mai multe din piesele sale este de factură melancolică, meditativ-contemplativă creând un mediu sonor relaxant.

Din punctul meu de vedere (atât cât mă pricep…) albumele “Between”(2000), primul dintre cele trei lansate de acest compositor din anul 2000 încoace cât şi “Communion”(2003) şi “Our Mother”(2007) sunt un “mare câştig” pentru muzica instrumentală contemporană.
